Power of Nine
![]() |
The Power of 9 Honors celebrates the spirit of volunteerism and puts the spotlight on the folks in our community who give freely of their time and energy to help organizations meet their missions
Volunteer recognition is a critical component in volunteer management. Volunteer! Baton Rouge along with WAFB-TV Channel 9 and Capital One Bank support our local heroes by honoring one special volunteer each month. WAFB-TV Channel 9, showcases a special volunteer the last Friday of every month. WAFB's Donna Britt features one of our community's most extraordinary volunteers on the evening news.
To recognize an individual or group demonstrating an extraordinary ethic of service and volunteerism in our community please submit a Nomination Form to Volunteer! Baton Rouge.
